A clinical neuropsychologist is an doctoral level psychologist who provides assessment and/or intervention services to children, teens, and adults of all ages.

Anyone with some training, even just a few classes, in test administration can claim to provide neuropsychological services. Fortunately, the American Psychological Association (APA) and other organizations formed a process to ensure the highest level of knowledge and quality.
To become board certified in clinical neuropsychology one must complete:
A doctorate in psychology from an accredited university training program,
Internship in a clinically relevant area of professional psychology,
The equivalent of two additional years of specialized training in clinical neuropsychology,
State or provincial licensure to practice psychology and/or clinical neuropsychology independently, and
And perhaps most importantly, complete a comprehensive test process that includes a written exam, peer review of work samples, and an in-person oral exam conducted by board certified specialists.
Attainment of the ABCN/ABPP Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology (i.e., board certification) is clear evidence of competence as a clinical neuropsychologist.

No. We are a private-pay, fee-for-service practice. We are not contracted with any insurance companies, including Medicare.
You will be billed directly for all care with payment in full required at the time of services. If you have out-of-network benefits, we are happy to provide you with a “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
We accept all major credit cards and/or FSA/HSA cards.

Cancellation policy varies based on service.
In general, for psychotherapy and intervention:
Cancellation is required 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged the full session fee.
For neuropsychological assessment, cancellation fees are based on average cost of evaluation.
24 hours or more notice – No Fee
Less than 24 hr notice– ½ Estimated Fee
No show – Full Estimated Fee
